Leicester or nottingham which is a better student city ?

I just want to know your opinions in general which is a better city for a student putting the university aside.

I assume nottingham is, seems to have more going on for gigs and the like

Nottingham is one major student city (although I would be bias!) Loaads going on night life wise. I made a big list of places on the Nottingham Trent University website.

Consider where your campus is too though. Like, if you're going to Nottingham Trent, you're alright because it's mainly a city campus. If you're at Nottingham University, from my understanding, it's miles away from the city centre!

It depends what you're after really. I'm at Leics, so may be biased.

I think Nottingham seems like a bigger city, with a bit more going on, but at Leicester you have the city on one hand, and then a lot of green space on the other, which I personally prefer. It depends if you like a very urban space, or you want a bit of the country as well.
