i used to play loads until I went to university.........stopped playing as a) was too busy and b) didn't have other players to play with...........trying to get back into it now, but its hard trying to find people!
i know how to use a recorder. i.e put tape in: press record.

i can do that at level 10 (ok, so i made that part up)

Yes, I play! I was going to take grade 8 this term, but never got round to doing the work and so didn't enter. Maybe next year . . . .

{looks around to check nobody's watching}

I play descant, treble, sop, tenor and bass. Did it at school so no grades, but I could sightread grade 4 stuff two and a half years ago, so I think I must be pretty decent. :biggrin:

What's wrong with anyone watching you? :p: Recorders are actually proper musical instruments, with a long history going back centuries, and have had music written for them by many eminent composers...shame some people don't realise this! (I don't mean you, by the way...)

I get so, so irritated when people claim that they aren't 'proper' instruments! So what if they aren't orchestral? Neither are guitars, after all... :wink:
