Well, its of japanese origin so they are equal in what part you stress.
So its not Toff-fu, its To-fu.

Tofu is a japanese word, which should actually be spelt "Toufu" and is pronounced "toh-fu"

Right, the correct version would be the one that is phonetically similar to the chinese word which it is derived from.
In chinese (mandarin), this would be pronouced to-fu. not tof-u.

The Japanese Romaji for it is tōfu (with a long 'o'), so if we're being really pedantic we should also use a long O in English; that is, "toe-foo". As it happens, it doesn't matter how you pronounce it, because people will know what you're on about.
