Yeah I went from year 7 to 11 then the first year of A levels. I studied Maths (statistics), Business Studies, English Language, Psychology and R.E. You're probably wondering why I had 5 subjects, well you should know that the school requires you to take a compulsory R.E. subject, however it will be 2 years of an AS, therefore the first year would be worth half an AS level. However, if you chose R.E. then you are only required to chose an additional 3 (adding up to 4 subjects) but that is, of course, if you don't mind selecting R.E. for AS & A2. I should also add that R.E. is "Philosophy & Ethics" in A levels and is actually quite interesting. I was not allowed back into A2 because my grades were poor, my only annoyance was the fact that my friends were there and I live like 30 seconds away. However, the teaching is also good on some levels. I knew the business teachers for long and prefer them to the one in Uxbridge College now. It is statistically a good school but in reality A levels is really about studying hard on your own to introduce you to university, I've learnt this the hard way. So I say go for it but whatever you do, study hard from day one. So the business teachers do know what they are talking about, in particular the head of Business; Ms. Tauh. The other Maths teacher (I didn't have) is a popular and (in my opinion) very good teacher, who knows what he is talking about. He also has good and humorous teaching techniques (Mr. Knight). I'm not too sure about the other subjects. Where are you studying at now?

Let me know what you decide to do. LITE

Didn't go because my mum thought it was a vile school but its not at all. Is actually one of the better schools in the area?

Are you Catholic? I'm sure the same requirements apply for sixth form.

Nahh tbh I don't blame your mum. There was a teacher who was caught looking at child porn back in year 7 =|

Also the stabbing that happened a few months back =| =|

But yeah it is actually not bad, it's a good school apart from that lol.

well tbh, u cant base a school on that as it was probably a one off and could of occured anywhere.
what you can base the school on is how good the teaching is, and do not base this on ofsted or bbc league tables as this is purely biased and overall not particular to most peoples situation.

is that a general overlook

Yea I hear Ealing College is crap for A levels, dunno bout the schools though. Did you lot hear about my old Headteacher at Wiseman? Got caught with 500k apparently stolen or w.e. It's all BS though, don't be put off, he is literally the BEST headteacher. Some people say he took Wiseman from the slums and made it the best school in London all by himself.
