I have just done a past AS- Level German reading and responding paper for the first time and i got 31 out of 40! I'm so glad because i think my teacher thinks that i am a bit stupid because on the first day she asked me what my name was in german and i was so nervous someone had to translate for me what she said! Then she asked what grade i got at Gcse, and i said A*, she was gobsmacked! I know I didnt get full marks for this paper but its still an A, and she knows that i'm not a total moron!

Well done! It really boosts your confidence when you get past papers that you do well on. I was getting quite worried about French, but I've done 3 past papers now and got 3 As, so that's made me much happier about it.
