can anyone tell me what's the molecular mass of ethanedioic acid crystal?
i don't know the H2O is consider or not.
i.e. HOOC-COOH*2H2O or just HOOC-COOH?
Thanks.

The crystal includes 2H2O, so the Mr of the crystal will include that too.

I see, thanks.
then, if the name stated Acid Anhydrite, no water was included, right?

Also, can you give me some example of Aliphatic dibasic acid?
i just know it has two ionizable hydrogen atom, what does Aliphatic means?

Aliphatic just means any compound that isn't aromatic, NB: an aromatic compound has a benzene ring in it.
So ethandioic acid is an example of an aliphatic dibasic acid.

Wait a minute....."acid anhydrite" or "acid anhydride"?

Well in that case.......acid anhydride ISN'T just the acid crystal take away the water:
It is the product after removing water from the actual compound of the acid to make (RCO)O(OCR')

so, is (HCO)O(OCH) a aliphatic dibasic acid anhydride?

i think i always misunderstand the chemical term in organic chemistry......
