advice pls

hey guys, so i'm in a bit of a dilemma right now. about two months ago i started dating this girl. we went out on four dates and i really liked hanging out with her. she was a good laugh and i felt comfortable around her. anyway, i'm not sure why but we just stopped seeing one another but i think we both intended to hang out again. we never went any further than just dating mind.
so i have been trying to get in touch with her for the last couple of weeks. usually when i unsuccessfully try to get in touch with her, she'll txt me back to let me know but she didn't do this for ages. i rang her today and she did. however, herein lies my problem. i met this girl on tuesday who seems great, i'd met her before a couple weeks back. but i don't know what to do. if the first girl wants to see me, should i? i'd like to just to ask her what happened between us and why we had that stagnant month where we never saw each other? opinions please....

I think you need to talk to the first girl and see if there's anything there. Just tell her how you feel about her (I wouldn't mention the second girl; just tell her how you feel about her in all honesty), and ask her what she feels about you. It could be slightly awkward asking such a forward question, but you need to know.

yeh you've got a point! i'm assuming the first girl wanted to jump my bones because when i told her i'd like to have a pop at having a relationship with her she wasn't keen. I won't be making that mistake again though!
