*waves* Hello, I'm someone who re-sat M1..

So did I! I went up 20marks in my resit! I think my initial paper was just a bad day though as it was my first AS exam and I was a bit blasé about the whole thing...I was good at Physics and M1 would surely be easy....then I got in the exam, panicked at the first question and ended up with 76!

*waves* Hello, I'm someone who re-sat M1. And wanted to re-sit it twice. :frown: *is an official failure*

I do M1-M3 and S1-2. Stats is infinitely easier...I can't even handle M1 and they want me to do M3. Gah.

OK, fine, I'm a bad person. I did only get 93, though, and apparently this now makes me sub-standard in this forum.

The further maths lot at my school seem to find M1 infinitely easier than S1, and we all find Stats strangely confusing (admittedly still 85<UMS)

in your first year's prelims you can get away with writing just 7 essays (out of 12). If you're good with maths / abstract stuff, doing 2 Maths questions for economics, and 3 logic questions for philosophy, should ease your workload by quite a lot. If you don't like maths / logic, then you can also get away with doing 11 essays, there's just the one (very easy) compulsory maths question for economics.

This depends on your tutors a bit though - some will only teach 2 of the 3 Philosophy subjects, with one potentially ending up being Logic.
