Can a mark scheme be wrong?

Hello, I have my IGCSE Biology Paper 3 Exam tomorrow and I was doing a past paper, May 2007.

A question was about testing for protein and it asked about the reagent you could use, accoding to the mark scheme is Benedict's but is it not Biuret's??

Please I need help.

Well yes in that case they're wrong. Actually it quite often happens in science mark schemes, I've seen a few that are clearly wrong and others that could be debated.

Because all exam bags have a special tag on it.
If the bag full of exams is opened before the allotted time, all scripts are marked as void.
You're from the UK, so your exam will be at 9ish tomorrow

mark schemes are normally wrong. use teachers.

Yes, they can be wrong.
We looked at a lot of past papers for my AS Level and the mark schemes had wrong answers a few times.

He's taking the practical Paper 3 today, as is everyone.

You're thinking of the Paper 2, which everyone took 2 weeks ago.

(Unless you're just trolling), why would you be able to take it weeks ago and then potentially tell everyone the questions?
