yeh guys. it was a good debate. everyone provided ample proof.
i would like to know one thing:
in Islam, we greet a fellow Muslim by saying As-Salam-a-laikum-Wa-Rahmataullahe-wabarakatu (im sure everyone knows the meaning).
but we normally say Salam only, which according to many people is wrong. they say that this does not even come close to the complete greeting, and implies that we are cursing the person we are greeting! (instead of praying for Allah's 'Barkat' (favor) for them!)
is that right? i dont think so.... still, i want to clear this... can any one help?
yes, it is true that Islam is divided into sects. currently there are 71 sects, and according to the Prophet ONLY ONE will go to Jannah! May we all be of that sect and go to Jannah as promised.. Ameen!
(brother dimez! i have some sort of facination with the 'BOLD TEXT', yeh? lol! i cant help it!
oh an thanks for explaining the rep thingy.. although i dont want to be in the red zone! it says i have some shameless behaviour in the past! what shamless behaviour
