do you know what he says about conversion? cos im gettign what he says and what starbuck says mixed up. the book im using doesnt really distinguish between the 2 properly. and im really frustrated tryna work it out. im not very patient as you can probably tell

if a non-Muslim greets you by saying As-Salam alikum, should you reply?

erm well ive heard that u should reply wa alaikum (im not sure how reliable this is)
allegedly this is because the jews used to say death be upon you to the prophet which used to sound similar. (dont quote me on this)
on the other hand, we've got a catholic priest (RE teacher) in our school who says salaam to a lot of the muslims. in that case i have no problem in saying wassalaam cos he truly is close in compassion to the believers him being a man of knowledge
