Backless Bras

I have a dress which requires a backless bra and I really really hate those ones with clear plastic straps. I'm 34DD so I do need a bit of support, just tit tape won't do. Has anyone tried those bras which are like a cup made from gel that you stick on your skin?

I have no idea, since I'm not a 34DD. I was just looking for bras and came across one that was 34DD and backless, and I posted it coz I knew someone was looking for one. As a 38DD I'm not going to try one!

Ah, they just look like they wouldn't give ANY support and would fall out of place really easily. Did you spend all night adjusting it? They really just look like you'd be wearing one just for the hell of it, to cover your nipples!!

Woolworths do them up to a D. La Senza do them in smaller sizes too

It was totally pointless, they covered like, half of my boobs, and when I pulled them together after sticking them down, I thought they were going to ping off under the strain! I didn't even dare wear them out!

id be happy to share the load.... what i want to know is ..can they get big enough that its hard to breath?

Yeah I know DD ones are available but I just wanted to know if they actually did much. These things are kinda heavy and I really can't imagine a cup stuck to my skin doing much.

I have an idea for a new design of bra, I might try and make it and see if that works.

I've got two of those sticky on bras but my boobs are only A/B...i'd swear by them for my sized boobs but wouldnt like to guess at how they'd handle DDs. I've never had a problem with them falling off...as long as u wash them (following instructions) then they stay sticky and are fine! I'll be wearing them for my 18th this weekend and the prom the week after. Cheapish shops like primark and peacocks do decent backless bras and go up to biggish sizes (i think).

Do strapless ones ever work properly? I always find them slipping.

OOOO yes. I have a fantastic one. I don't know, but I think having rather plentiful clevage makes a difference - only because there's something for it to cling on to. The one I have is sort-of sticky all around so it stays put and hoiks everything up.

It's just a charnos bra from my local lingerie shop. Had to have it properly fitted and everything and it's great. I took a picture so youc an see the texture. That sticky stuff is all under the cups and all along the top and bottom of the back of the bra from the hooks round to the cups. If that makes sense. THAT is what you need to look for. And it has to be fairly tight, of course.
sorry it's small, but TSR won't let me upload anything bigger than a gnat's *******.
