Ucas User name?

How does the user name work for the UCAS application thing.
What format is it in? E.g. First initial, space, surname etc.?

I think they mean when you are applying to UCAS, rather than tracking your progress.

My applying user name was Initial Name 1 (ie jsmith1)

My tracking progress user name/number is like yours (04-006127-2) which they sent on a form telling me "UCAS has my application".

this must be something new, because we didn't get usernames last year.

its cos the internet system is relatively new, out college only signed up for it this year.
