We're going on holiday but...

Basically I'm going on holiday in Summer for three weeks with two of my good friends from primary. BUT my cousins and auntie are coming. This would normally be fine except I recently found out that they had been bitching about me and saying some really below-the-belt comments. I have ignored the things they say in the past and am well aware that they bitch about people they are jealous of as they do it all the time for no good reason.
They called my best friend a hoe and had no reason and shes coming on holiday too and she hates their guts.
I don't want to repeat what they said because I find it too stressful, of course no one is fooled by their behaviour but nothing has been said since I talked to them when I found out.
I don't want things to go unsaid because it will be really awful when we go away. My mum would rather pretend it hasn't happened because if it doesn't affect her then she doesn't care.
Please give me some good advice. Thanks

Your family have been saying these things? That's so odd.
Just tell them they're being silly and it's going to make holiday uncomfortable. Even if they don't like your friends I'm sure they can stop with the crappy comments to make the holiday enjoyable for all.

Simply kill them, you know what 'foreigns' are like, you can get away with anything if you bribe them.

I understand you totally as my aunt(dad's sister) has ben bitching about everyone in my family too. The only difference is that she does that as well as completely ignore us, which i thought is probably better than your case. lol.

Sometimes things are better left unsaid. Is she your mum's sister? If so , maybe that's why your mum doesnt want any conflict.

Edit: OR, if you really hate them too, try annoye them on your holiday!! :yep:
