why do you go to hospital if it blisters?? its just sunburn, it heals by itself!

Burn, Blister, Peel, Repeat. Its how most of the british public spend their summer holidays!

Sunstroke is through the whole body's temperature increasing, sunburn is more localised. If you drink plenty water and wear a hat you probably won't get sunstroke.
Did you see how bad his sunburn is? If he got burnt taht badly then there is a high chance of getting sunstroke.

that looks so painful... this will sound really weird, but pouring cold milk over it will make it feel better... whole fat is better than semi skimmed too...

Lol it's his arm, can't you see the hand at the end? :p:

Anyway there's not much you can do...

I don't know if sunburn counts as a superficial (first-degree) burn, but my first aid book says to go to hospital if a superficial burn covers an area greater than five of the palm of your hand. It also says you should go to hospital if a superficial burn goes around a limb (like, all the way round your wrist) because then it can affect circulation. Does suburn count as one of these? Up to you.

It definately says for sunburn though that if it blisters you should go to hospital.
Ahh yeah now I see But it does look like a hot dog if you look at it another way :p:
