hey leave the guy alone so he aint got a girlfriend at the moment neither do i, dude if you can accept that you might have to deal with rejection then get to know a girl that you like and if you still like her then ask her out simple as ..good luck
What are you two girls coming on and talking about your relationships for?? Kinda rude in a 'I need a girlfriend' post. Lonely you can do what L1m3y said, or you can do that up to the point of asking them out, and get them drunk instead then go with whatever happens, greater success rate. If you were aiming for drunken kissing / sex that is, though that not a girlfriend, but it's better than nothing if it doesn't develop into one :P.
Wow you've been busy this morning <3  I sorta feel like Lonelydogsbite, but unfortunately I can't get a gf at the moment anyway cos i'm leaving soon, which is even worse. :frown:

As soon as I quit work though ... ..

If you feel like you NEED a girlfriend, you won't get one. I'm overgeneralising a little, but generally neediness is a huge turnoff

Yes. :p: but I was referring to the OP, who has phrased his post in such a way that suggests he needs a girlfriend much like I need air and water!!

As well as the clingyness turn off, if you need a girlfriend, when you get one you will put up with all kinda of **** to keep one.

Better to learn to be happy single, then when you get a girlfriend you won't think its the end of the world *if* it doesn't turn out the way you want.

I know.. I just wanted some attention
A lot of people are single (including me), and it can feel a bit rubbish especially at an age when it may seem that *everyone else* is in a relationship. Of course, that's not true, and it's important to realise that relationships are a lot of hard work, and it won't all be happiness and roses when in a relationship all the time. The thought of having someone to go to all the time, and the stability there, and also the dependence from them is quite nice however.

As a lot of people have pointed out, you shouldn't be needy, because it may not be all that, especially if you take the first available opportunity. So take your time, and something *will* turn up. Incidentally, if there is someone you have your eye on (I love that phrase) then tell us about it, and maybe someone can help.
to be fair tho at least your parental unit hasn't told everyone that they're 'never going to get rid of you' as no one wants me, it ws said even to the plumber. some people's belief in their offspring is just inspirational n'est pas?
