Biology EE topics

I'm going to start doing biology EE soon and I have to do an experiment during the summer cos that's the best time. However, that is drawing near and I have to come up with a topic real quick (within this week or next) so that's what I need your help on.

I am open to all kinds of ideas (ecosystem, physiology, etc.) Initially, I wanted to do something on plants like perhaps the effect of [fertiliser, weather, music etc.] on plants but the thing is i don't know what effect on plants and on what plants.

Although I have a few ideas, they're all based on plants and my supervisor doesn't like them because from year 7-12 you've been doing plants already ('unless you do something really interesting, like cross breeding plants')

Anyways i'm looking for any suggestions as to a topic. Also, it would be really nice if you could tell me what you did for your biology EE (and perhaps a bit about them)? That way I could get an overview of the types of topics and the range and methods used.

I really need your help because i am stuck and without a topic i can't start and time is running out and i am kinda panicking.

I did my EE in Biology and it was about plant tumours!!! And it is predicted as A!! The best thing is to do something u are interested in beacuse if u are not then it becomes hard to write 4000 words!!

Can you go into more detail about your EE please? I am interested in many things and i can't narrow down the thing yet and that is the problem right now. I'm thinking it would be easy to control and experiment if i do plants, but again i don't know what plants and stuff. i am also interested in maybe doing something about human physiology, like maybe fitness and exercise and stuff, except that i would have to do it on myself only and then the results won't be very reliable etc etc. Thanks a lot for any help.

After lots of research and thinking, I think I've now got a topic for myself. It's about cellular respiration of seeds at different variables. What do you think? Is it sufficient to do things on, is there a standard method of doing this? etc. etc.
I'm pretty sure I'm going to do this topic, but there is still about 5% chance it could change, if I come across a more interesting topic.
