you had a disagreement, no wonder he's been avoiding you, you saw each other in town, you made up and cleared the air..... now he feels like he can talk to you... isnt that how things work?????
he's recently moved in with his new girlfriend, of cause he's going to be busy... if he's working, then of cause he's going to be tied, give him some slack! he probably doesnt tell his parents everything (i know i certainly dont) whats the point in worrying them with simple little issues like being tied!!!!!
i dont need to speak to my old school friends for months yet out of the blue we might ring each other and its as if nothings changed..... these sort of people make the best friends.
