If it makes anyone feel better the UK average turnaround time (from UCAS recieving an application for to you being notified of the decision) is 53.5 days...over 7 and a half weeks.

Last year our minimum time was 4 days (including postage between UCAS and us) and our maximum was 259 days (37 weeks ) (although that was for medicine so it's possible it was delayed by interviews and medcal checkups etc.)

Yeah that average will have been pulled up by all the interview subjects, and oxbridge applications. It would be interesting to see what the average turnaround time is for non-interview and non-oxbridge applications...
