4 hormones involved in the oestrus cycle

Can anyone give me a simple definition of how the four female hormones - LH, FSH, oestrogen and progesterone are all involved in the oestrus cycle. I can't quite get my head around it all, it seems that they all do so many different things! I find the hardest remembering how they inhibit the production of each other...can anyone explain the whole negative feedback thing to me?

FSH (Follicle-Stimulating Hormone):
Stimulates development of follicle
Stimulates secretion of oestrogen

LH (Luteinisng Hormone):
Stimulates ovulation
Stimulates formation of corpus luteum
Stimulates secretion of progesterone by corpus luteum

Oestrogen:
Stimulates development of endometrium
Inhibits secretion of FSH

Progesterone:
Maintains and vascularises endometrium
Inhibits production of FSH and LH
