Anyone planning to visit India in the near future?

I am really impressed by our president Kalam who's gonna retire from his presidency post and take up his ever loving professor post at the Anna University. He is a great inspiration for our young generation.

We're goin to have our first woman president(Pratibha Patil) soon end of this month

I'm confused does India have a President & a Prime Minister? What's the difference between the two? Thanks if anyone can clear this up for me

The President is the figure head of the country, and tends to overlook everything, whereas the Prime Minister is much more involved in the day-to-day running of the country and international relations.

A bit like the Queen and the Prime Minister in the UK
