Pfft jet deleted your post and made me look insane
 no i didn't! I edited it  Why the heck did it get deleted?

Anyway...just to make you look sane again, I said something like "and Oxford students can't socialise??" lol

In reply to your next post (this is confusing lol), that's why I preferred Oxford! :p: And I can definitely understand where you're coming from; the typical stereotype of a lawyer/even a law student (especially at Oxbridge) is still "white middle-class male", but during my interviews I met so many diverse individuals that I don't really think that's the case anymore! Obviously, the 'middle-class' might be in the majority at Oxbridge, but I think that's proportional to the number of people who apply.

(Grades permitting) I may be going to Oxford next year. I'm not white, or middle-class, or male (or pompous-at least, I hope not!) :p: lol!

Fblade probably didn't want any distractions, so I think he may have asked to be temporarily banned? Je ne sais pas

Most probably wont even know/ remember me. Im a lost cause. If you do remember me...hello! I missed you soooooooooo much guys!

Just had to come by and say hi after so long. Its been so busy . Earlier, I took a stand against unproductiveness and unfortunately TSR and IFG fell into that category.

So much to say. India Vs Australia tests- ouch. Benazir bhutto *shock*. OSO and Saawariya- Painful. Yet, i still dont have the time!

But I thought Ill come and share the good news, I got an offer from cambridge for medicine...seems we have some applicants here. Do tell.

Thats all i can manage for now...
But i will haunt you some time soon again...
bye for now...

What up everyone?

Vesta - You know what I'm going to say

Cambridge offers (Roman) Civil Law, in fact it's compulsory in the 1st year, and the degree has AMAZING options. I don't know the Oxford course and it's probably similar but Cambridge options in 2nd and 3rd year are all really theoretical but with a practical application

I prefer the structure of the Law course at Cambridge over Oxford's. Exams at the end of each year just make life easier. But both were the first places to teach Law so both have an extremely traditional course and both are the best places to study it. (And Cambridge came first in the league tables this year :champ:)

You might also want to look at the application process, because as cheeky as it sounds, I chose my Cambridge college because other than the LNAT it only asked for 1 interview. Others asked for multiple interviews, tests on interview day, submitted work and prepatory work at the interview to discuss later . I know the Oxford application process is longer but probably more fun.

And lawkward, like Jet'aime I'm not white, m/c, pompous etc. You must have come across a bad bunch of law students.

Hope that helps

Just watched the new Amir Khan movie - Zameen me Tarre or Asman par Zameen (?) - Something along those lines. Wicked film, the kid actor is AMAZING. Haven’t been able to say that in a looooooooooong time about an Indian film. Has a really good message to (how the Indian education system, parenting (and to some extent society) has not adapted and doesn’t cater to the needs of the special needs children). Watch it

Sachiiin!!

Krystal: Congratulations! And yep, Saawariya and OSO...yuck!

Rudrax: Well, to each their own-I'd prefer having no exams in the second year! Pfft-what do league tables know?! :p: And Oxford doesn't ask for any written work for Law! And yep, my stay in Oxford was so much fun (after my first interview and once I discovered that there's really no way to prepare for the interviews!)

It's great if you get an offer, but I don't particularly like the Cambridge pooling system-so many of my friends are incredibly stressed because of it atm! (on top of the stress of modules).

Vesta: Yep, supposedly Oxford use the LNAT to shortlist for interviews, but I don't know how true this is (especially as I thought my LNAT was crap!) Good luck wherever you apply! Both Cambridge and Oxford are great!

Umm...2003 I think? Long time ago :p: But it was great! LoL, I've never worn a sari before ; I find it much easier to dance in a chaniya choli/lengha! (yes Vesta, they rock!) But seeing as my mum recently bought me a lovely sari from India, I may wear one on my birthday!

Don't know about Garba! (I don't think there is anything though ) London uni garbas are the best...I went to the Imperial one last year lawkward (though I haven't been to any of the bhangra events!)

I've met Yuvi before And Harbajan...lolll he's so funny! Ganguly is just stuck up!
