my boyfriend was saying this exact thing yesterday, he said that he knows loadsa guys that dont work, dont do anything, these are guys aged about 25 and 26 like, and that they have nice girlfriends, i dunno what it is , personally i dont think i could be with a guy like that, its one thing being broke but studying, a totally diff thing being lazy and good for nothing, maybe the girls think they can do no better?
Success is not everything my friend.

dossers have a 'fcuk it' attitude. There up for anything... mostly

--> time spent with them is fun

maybe when your like 14 but at some stage it becomes very unattractive to be lazy and unambitious
But is vaulting ambition not a hinderance to a relationship?

I agree, up to a point its fun and exciting.

Its only when you need to start thinking about long-term plans that suddenly you wish they weren't so damn fun!

Maybe it's because girls like attention and like spending time with their bfs and someone who doesn't work has plenty of free time to spend with them. Simple.

i go out with someone for personality and looks. i have my own money and as long as they have time for me and aren't sponging off me, i dont care what they do. it'd only become a problem if they couldn't afford to keep up with me (it's not like i'm rich in any way tho, i'm only a student).

My bf a total dosser!!! and it really gets to me, hes nearly been kicked out of sixth form early this year!! its not like hes dull and can't do the work, hes really bright!!
Apart from being lazy hes a really nice guy, but I wudn't want to be with a dosser when im older!!!
whatever you do, dont become a dosser to get a girl!!!!

All dossers have huge penises, its a well known fact. :P

If that's not the answer then I don't know

I knew a guy who pulled girls by being a moody, unpleasant wannabe-thug and complaining about how ugly he was.

Girls have no taste anyway  It's a well-known fact. Half of them don't even know what they like... They basically need to be told one way or another, what they like.

Well, it totally depends what type of a person they are. A friend of mine he didn't make the grades but after a while he got himself a job at the post office, but I don't know if he's still got it... lol, if he turns up there as frequently as he did for school
But he was an increadibly nice person, if he'd have asked me out - I would have choosen him over the guy who's going on to be a doctor any time. Just because he had such a lovely personality. Having a great job and working hard is not all, if you're a great person people will not judge you too hard for being a dope-smoking looser when it comes to school and work (ok, so maybe you can smoke dope and not miss classes, but most people end up with crap grades and a crap job).

Not all lazy people are unambitious...i know of alot of very capable lazy people who just do not know wtf to do with their lives...very talented but they are very unsure in what they want to do...lazy and unambitious really do not go together..or shouldn't do as much as they do...lazy people are often just lazy as a result of insecurities about jobs and interests and fulfillments, as a result they can often become demotivated. Ahhh im speaking about myself.
confidence i've been with some complete losers, yes they were v v fit but did jack sh i t but i was attracted to the control they had and the confidence, my inability to let go like that...they're just very sexy..i'll be quiet not..
