Yes- you have the same one for your school life, even if you move school.

How many digits does it have? is it the one you have to put on the front of exams?

12 digits and a letter, e.g. 111110172222P The last 4 digits are the candidate number at the school that issued it to you.

HeyMine is different I thought it's because I changed schools but looks like I'm the only one with this issue... Does this bring complications?Please let me know.

Your candidate number will change when you change centres but the UCI should not. I suggest you find your new school's exam office and give them your original UCI.

I took my GCSEs in 2005. The only number at the bottom of my certificate is 61740:0185:L0H524499:frown:my DOB DD/MM/YY). So confused!
