There's barely any mention of 3rd class Oxbridge degrees in there. And I was asking about 'good' universities such as Warwick and UCL, not ex polys.

Well, that would be because there's very little disagreement about the fact that a third is a bad degree class to end up with. Even if it's from Oxford or Cambridge.
Much as I hate to give serious replies to this kind of thread...
Assuming no good excuses like being hit by a car, employers are going to prefer a 2:1 from anywhere to a 3rd from Oxford. A 3rd says only bad things about your work ethic and ability.
