But on the Notts Accommodation site it says Single Studies do not have washbasins.

from what i can remember from medlink a few years a go not all the derby rooms had washbasins, it depended on if you were in the new or old blocks. so its probably just luck of the draw if you end up there whether you get a sink in your room.

That's really bizaare, I went in around 50ish lincoln rooms scattered around the hall and they all had washbasins, we assumed it was standard.

Any idea which block it was? Maybe the weird M block.

crap i cant remember, maybe want to say H block? If you are coming from the bit with the dining hall and you go down some steps and your looking from there at the kind of internal quad bit, it was the side on the right (backs onto the road) and i was in like the second door along (i think). then my room was on the first floor at the very far end of the corridor, with its window looking into the quad.
Im pretty sure that description and directions make no sense whatsoever!

I was in a room at Lincoln Hall for medlink. Had a washbasin but the room was rank and the bathroom was a disgrace. Ended up getting moved.

What are the rooms at lincoln hall generally like?

Starstrike - sounds like D block for your info

Alcohol 5%- I was there last year and my room was lovely, amazing view over the downs etc. But the ones on the B-E side of the hall were a little scummy, nicer than Sherwood, Broadgate, New Hu Stu and others though. When we went back for the reunion formal they had done up a lot of the block and had repainted *ruined!* mine. If they didn't have washbasins then I imagine they do now as I think it -is- a requirement.

Overall Lincoln is a really nice pretty hall which is why the open days all get taken there, irritated us no end whilst waiting for dinner on a wednesday hah!
