Hi guys I am an Economics L101 fresher. I reckon I have the worst A level grades of anyone on the course.

Did you get AAAE/AAAe? :p:

That's the bare minimum...unless you got lower? :p:

Any lower and I think they send you to QMUL or somewhere. :frown:

Trust me you'll be fine just get involved in societies and events, you'll meet loads of amazing people! :smile:

from what i have seen so far, is it inevitable to join societies and events,lol. :biggrin:

What about those ppl who love to stay in their room and go to classes when necessary?

Haha especially at Freshers Fayre where you are swamped by societies trying to persuade you to join them! :p:

I thought the lectures were good despite being wildly off the mark with what was actually on the exam. But to be fair, he never had a chance predicting the stuff Alwyn comes up with.

He wasn't wrong when he said he'd not seen the paper...

So you know the financial undertaking form we were meant to fill out like 2 months ago or something? I still haven't done it. What's the image they want you to upload? I know it's a GIF file you can get from the view correspondence from student finance's website, but exactly which one are LSE looking for?

Haha, im doing that today as well. When you select it the option with that it tells you that you can send it in later, which is what im doing becauase Student Finance England can't get their act together.

[edit] just re-read your post, to answer your question - I don't know. Maybe it's just the summary letter with all the payments, dates etc.

Yeah, you're not joking. It's like this every year as well (certainly was last year at least). I submitted my application on the 9th of May and it's only on the 9th of August that they approved it. Now they want me to sign some document but will probably take another month before they update it.

In other news, apparently there's some sort of postal strike in London, which is why Frontier and I haven't got our mail yet and won't get the welcome pack until Tuesday! :frown:
