I got the welcome pack today as well. I cracked up so hard when I saw at the back of the SU guide they list the street prices for various drugs - they literally list like "1 gram of cocaine = £30 - £60" (page 110 for anyone wondering).

A bit worrying is how they start off that section like "Let's face it we all take drugs, even your mum takes drugs" . I would not have thought this to be the case at LSE.

Now i know the street price of drugs, who wants to come down Camden with me ?

I applied for a scholarship but haven't heard anything yet...

Did you get AAAE/AAAe? That's the bare minimum...unless you got lower?

Any lower and I think they send you to QMUL or somewhere.

Haha embarrassing, but I got AABCd. But I had some mitigating circumstances this year and the admissions tutors must have been feeling generous! When they finally let me know I was accepted, there was a part of me that was dissapointed that I wouldn't get to retake some things, particularly my 473 UMS B grade.

A very, very small part of me, mind.

Hope you guys are all getting excited for freshers week! I'm gonna be selling tickets for all the club nights throughout freshers and beyond that can be REALLY hard to get hold of (as I found out last year to my cost). But I don't want any TSR'ians missing out on the best nights like Tiger Tiger, Pacha, Zoo Bar and On Anon so PM me if you want to be put down on the guestlist for guaranteed entry. See you there!

Thanks, I just did the usual. Rang them up when i found out and they said they would 'keep it in mind' and 'put me on the list'. Can't believe it actually happened though!
