Is there no freshers' ball?

Last year RAG did one at Vertigo (which looked really good) - can't seem to see it this time round though?

The AU events look quite good too, just the actual SU ones look rubbish!

I'm bringing my PS3 probably, but I have only a few games so you guys will have to bring em. We can then have TSR PS3 nights in my room . I am looking forward to the Tekken 6 game coming out next month though.

I don't think the stuff arranged by SU is that bad too be honest, but Rosebery's looks amazing!

There are only about 5 events there which are fresher events. The rest happen like every week basically. I assume LSE has some regular events too that haven't been mentioned on the lsefestival.com website (for example, someone was saying they're selling tiger tiger + onanon tickets).

That looks awesome, and they've got cool banners and everything.

Also, at least they've called it "Freshers Events" and not "Orientation Festival".

Yeah, fair enough. It will probably turn out to be fun anyway.

I was just trying to make the point that they've not done a good job of making it sound exciting.

do you bring your own tv, or just hook it up to the tv in the common room when needed?

I will be a fresher so I can't answer your question but I'm taking my own TV, ye.
