Yip, I got the email and managed to confuse myself greatly with the financial bit
Confusion #1 For people with a UK loan - we don't fill in Section C do we? The loan company is paying it direct, so why would we fill in when they pay it?
Confusion #2 For people with a UK loan but conditional offers (I think) - do we have a financial notification yet? I have a letter that says "IMPORTANT DOCUMENT - FINANCIAL NOTIFICATION" on top, but it doesn't say anything important, and I don't have it electronically, only as an email. So it is that? Do I have to scan it in? Have I just made something very simple very complicated
I hate filling in forms. I blame the jetlag.
I hate filling forms too. Sometimes, they are misleading.
My home government only allow me to apply for scholarship when i get my unconditional offer which is after i get my result in august. In my case, I wonder what should i put under "Are you waiting funding from:" which can be found in Personal Payment Plan. Is government considered as an organisation?
awesome, I changed my LSE 4U skin, now it's green! I don't have anything from SFE and I don't have a recent passport photo so I can't do anything else on it.

I think you can send pretty much any picture of yourself from which you can be easily recognized.
I get some strange error notification when I try to submit my "verification of application" form. Does anybody else have a similar problem?
That's right, we don't have to fill in section C (or at least I didn't anyway!).
You don't actually have to add it, it says you can do it at a later date, but, if you log into student finance and view correspondence, I think there is a .gif file which you can download, it might be that one you need to upload?
I just didn't upload anything because they've screwed up my finance...again.
Found it, clicked the .gif (which was orange for a link) and then it took me to a page where it just had the title. Well, that's silly, the silly website didn't let me download it! I think I'll just submit it, and email and ask if that is the correct thingymajig. Or maybe I should email first, I'll email first. I hate forms!

I just read this e-mail. Freaking out. I'm going to mess it all up. They'll rescind my offer. I'll end up London Met
Glad it isn't just me that worries that the offer could be declined on grounds of bad form filling in
Lol, they're going to read my mangled, poorly written, badly punctuated form and toss my application into a bin marked 'Not LSE material'. Bad tiiimes
Oh dear. I'm sure they do that, re read the application to make sure we were definitely meant to have an offer. Probably spin me some line about meaning to give the offer to Katy when I'm technically Katherine. Oh man
Has anyone else had the trouble with the financial notification?
Sorry if the question that I'm about to ask has already been raised. I didn't read through all 8 pages of this thread so... x_x
Basically I'm an international student and I need to book the flight now asap. I was wondering about freshers' week and whatnot. Do you guys know when exactly it will be happening this year and around when we should arrive at LSE, would you recommend? Thanks a load. Sorry for suddenly asking this, it's pretty urgent though

The default is that you arrive on 27th of September. I'm not sure about when orientation begins, but I'm pretty sure it's after the 27th. I'm moving in the 24th...
^ As above. I think international students are coming earlier. IMO they probably should - an extra week or so to get used to living in a new country, with perhaps a new language and a new culture will be invaluable.
You'll have to double check about the availibility of your halls for that week though.
I'm arriving on the 24th. But my flight touches down at 730pm. By the time I arrive in London from the airport, it'd be around 9 plus, maybe 10. Will the halls allow me to check in that late? Or would it be better if I just do it the next morning?
I hate these stupid forms- it took me around half an hour to figure out how to resize my passport photo from 165KB to 15. Arrrrrrrr.....
I am happy though because I have 20 days left at home, then I'm off to Europe until December 11th! Need to go on a major winter clothes shopping spree...Yaaaaayyy!

I think you need to inform you hall earlier and see what they can do for you.
