do you think the sets that all-unied.com provide are too much?? would it be better to buy everything there?

i can't really bring anything with me from home as I have to fly to London and can only take my suitcase (which will def. be crammed) - having everything in my room when i arrive would be handy but i'm worried that i won't need all the stuff... :-S

Those sets are a rip off, it'd probs be much cheaper and easier to just buy everything there, I will be.

I was going to get one of those packs but then decided it would be a rip off and 3/4 of it i wouldnt even use. I went to Tesco's today they have started putting there student range out i got a few bits a bobs.

Coley - i wouldn't worry to much without bringing stuff with you as a 2 min walk away there is a argos, asda living and a staples :smile:

so basically everything ohh and a boots always handy!

i made a mistake and never attached the form to the email for my accomodation and just realized TODAY! i emailed the man at UNITE but with the time difference I wont be able to call him until tomorrow. Im worried...

I rang them up today to check if my letter arrived, i sent it the beginning of last week but the status on the website was still "offered" and not "complete". Apparently they haven't received it yet..I was really worried because tomorrow's the 10th but the guy reassured that my room is reserved until the 17th..

I think you should be fine & still have your room!! (maybe double check with them?)

+ got an e-mail to remind me my reservation is about to expire..I'm a bit confused now..they told me that I had time until the 17th yesterday??..argh

This happened to me too. I replied directly to the email that the form was sent with, rather than sending the form to the email address they said it needed to be sent to. My fault for not reading emails, I've sent it now, so think it should be okay.

Oh gosh you poor guys!
Mine was all quite smooth i got the email saying where i had been given, filled out that basic form saying if we wanted mixed or whatever. :smile:

4 days later i got an email saying to print off the forms and send them off somewhere, i printed them put them in the post and around a week ago i got an email saying its all set up and my deposit is all paid and so on! :cool:
