i no what u mean but i bet people who have gone through clearing might be put in some free rooms so u never know! it will be fun anyway there seems to be a hella lot of rooms so we won't fall short of neighbours! im in B 803, how bout u? ahh the money sitch is annoying... seeing as its student accom i think its daft they'r charging more than the highest possible loan and grant!! x

Hehe!! I know I'm well excited. Got all my stuff packed near enough. Only a few bits and bobs left!! Lol
I've tried to have a look around to see what there is to do in the area but aren't having too much luck!! Ha!!
I don't know if the buildings are near each other, don't really know how the flats are going to be laid out. I don't even know what I'm ment to do when I get to there!! Crazy..
Also know how yhoo feel about the whole making friends situation!! Thats the thing I'm most worried about (and fitting all my stuff in my room, hehe).

Is anyone in or near room A206? Mine is also half empty! I'm hoping the details arne't up to date and all the rooms are actually full, it seems strange that they would only half fill every flat it looks like there are hundreds! I've also just bought the £60 freshers package so Im hoping I will find some friends too!

Think i must be the only one thats looking forward to it being empty, less people in the kitchen sounds good to me, more space. Less fighting over the fridge.

I'm having the same promblem!! Also there is a bike race thing in the centre of London tmorrow as well aprently!! So all the roads have been shut down Luckily Idon't have to drive through that way!!! :s-smilie:

Oh and does anyone know if there are lifts in this building, if not I'm going to have a work out and a half getting all my stuff up to my flat!!! :eek:

I thought the Closure of central london for the cycling was next weekend..? i could be wrong though.

I think, that emily bowes is on ferry lane, the A503.. i think...

o well i guess i will find out tomorrow.

I would assume they would have to have lifts, but again, i could be wrong.

i moved in today you go in the main doors and the main reception is to the left and there is loads of people giving out keys and internet cables! the building hasnt even been finished yet! some flats dont even have windows :O my room is like a tiny lil box :P

All the flats from like floor 3 upawrds (11 floors in total i think) are all built but the bottom ones some dont have windows some dont all have the walls done and its basically a building site! it has a cute lil garden square inside with a lonely tree!
Erm i dont know where block d is as i am in a but all the blocks do look fully built other than the bottom of the whole builing! i asked the girl today who showed me to my room when is it gunna be compleated she went well it is sposed to be fully built!

ermm the 2 back blocks have 11 floors the two front blocks have 5 floors i am on the 4th floor in a front so near the top of my block!
yeah the room is cool and cosy not spacious at all :smile:

but its got everything i need its all quite modern like it took me forever to know where my wardrobe was as its kinda in a red round thing in a corner! i have a nice view of some rubble and cranes!
