I'm quite sure that I'm better at maths than you. I just said it was boring and rubbish.

You spelt 'intelligent' wrongly by the way...

Please do not imply that people are unintelligent just because they dislike maths. The art of spelling obviously requires too much intelligence for people like you.
Did you register on here for any reason other than to boast about your grades?

Maths is certainly an intresting and vital subject however its all a matter of perspective as with most things. I am relativley good at maths and doubt I would have many problems taking it further but it just doesent intrest me, it depends on how you see yourself and your future. Where your intrests are and how you want to pursue them, some people just dont find maths attractive as others dont find say english/history attractive.

Also how you percieve subjects can be due to how you were taught them I havent had a decent maths teacher my whole life but have had excellent english, history, languages and so on teachers. The education you get in subjects prior to higher education reflects on how you see them.

HAHAhahaa that's what I ask myself every day!
I did it because further maths at sixth form is fun and very very easy. MMath is neither. I wasn't allowed to change to philosophy and politics, but I didn't want to drop out of uni altogether.

sorry man, but I wish someone had done to me three years ago. i'm not just being negative i'm trying to help people. I'm sure you probably know deep down whether you are just very good at maths or exceptional at maths. Good luck.

Hmmph, I don't reckon I'm exceptional, but I enjoy it and am half-decent at it. Although now hearing that a) half-decent needs to be backed up by major work, and b) it won't be so fun, daaaaaaamn why didn't I pick Economics!? Oh well I'm hoping that general uni life will be enough of a release from Maths, however boring it may be. At least you're still alive, if you can survive it you must be doing something right!

hehe, surviving just. change to economica when you get there. still plenty of dead-easy A level style maths involved in that.
