I hope that link worked for you !

Oh and I do believe it does matter, if you pass (and hopefully you will  ) they will post your license to your old address D:

Thanks very much but it says that'll take up to 10 days. My theory is next week. Will it matter if it doesn't come or shall I cancel it now?! Surely I can just tell them which address to send it to?! Will they take my licence after just my theory?

OH sorry!
It's just your theory! In that case no, I don't think it matters. Do however make sure you get it sorted before your practical though.

No worries, yeah I'm gonna get it sorted now I've just been being lazy and putting it off for ages. I might ring them just to make sure it'll be okay though. Thankkss!

When I passed my practical test the examiner asked me if any of my details had changed.
Dunno if it's the same for theory cause I can't remember but uh, just incase.

Good luck anyway chum.

They ask at the reception if the address on your licence is where you live.

On the bottom of your paper counterpart are some pink boxes. You must fill these in with your new address, sign it and date it. Then simply present the licence at your theory test and the invigilator will ask if you're still living at the address on the licence. You can confidently say "yes" as the new address IS on the licence as well as the old one; you just haven't quite sent it off yet.

Honesty is the best policy - and in any case, your appointment letter will probably have your new address on it so any difference will be spotted easily.

After your theory test (win, lose or draw) you must send both parts of your licence to the DVLA for exchange. This is a legal requirement so do this without delay. It's free and you'll get your new licence back well before the typical waiting time for a practical test.

It doesn't matter at all. When I took my driving test, the address on my provisional was wrong, and at the end of the test the examiner asked me whether my details had changed, and I lied and said no, just for a laugh.
The joke would be on you if your licence was sent to an old address and didn't make its way to you.

do I need my address in my provisional license to be correct for my test ?
