My boyfriend stares at blondes... I'm brunette. Should I feel insecure?

i can't help it, my boyfriend of 1 + 1/2 years seems to always stare at blonde women in the street. it makes me feel sad because i'm brunette, my hair is dark brown to black. surely if thats what he stares at then thats what he wants? i feel like i cant compete with blondes :frown:

am i being too paranoid?

As for your boyfriend, he shouldn't be staring at anyone in the street when he's with you, that's just plain disrespectful, no matter what colour their hair is.... Tell him it makes you feel uncomfortable and leave it at that... Don't nag him about it or start a huge row but just tell him how it makes you feel...

It's not a matter of should, it sounds like you are already insecure. You should just ask your boyfriend about it and see what he says. Lots of my friends prefer brunettes over blondes, one isn't better than the other, they're just different!

I would feel insecure too if it was me. I'm a pale blonde with no tits and my man likes dark skinned brunettes with double Es. But at the end of the day he is with you so he must like you. He's just checking out the rest of the spectrum.

I love dark men and that's what my boyfriend is but sometimes I eye up someone who is different. I guess my boyfriend ticks the box for me and I just enjoy the view of the rest. Dooesnt mean I fancy him less.

He might appreciate you more as you are a contrast.

Don't be insecure. Just because he looks at blondes doesn't mean he prefers them. Even if he does prefer them in general that doesn't mean he cares about you any less or doesn't love you.

Men! Bloody useless. We kinda stare a lot. Sometimes don't even notice we are doing it.

Just because he is looking at other women doesnt mean he doesn't find you attractive. Just means he isn't Edward Cullen, and you can't fault him for that. I'm sure from time to time, you having been looking at attractive males youself.

blonde's are natural head turners. no idea why, maybe association with the whole angelic pornstar thing, maybe something else, maybe just because their hair is lighter to be honest n stands out more in a crowd, no idea.
guys always look at girls. all guys of all ages, jus watch them, we all look of course we can't walk around blind, but if you really think he's checking them out, then its probably just an empty-objectifying thing, which then its up to you to decide if this is innapropriate
to be feeling less appreciated by him because of it is a problem though, he should be able to go 'wow' at another girl and you still not doubt his attraction to you in my opinion. (i dont mean that he should be doing that lol but should be able to without you feeling bad about yourself if ya get me.

if a random blonde and a random brunette were stood next to each other, i'd look at the blonde first. but i totally prefer brunette's. so go figure? lol
