It's actually the Glasgow one we need because of all the city centre restaurants. There is a Platinum Glasgow one but unfortunately some of the good restaurants don't seem to be included in there, bizarrely! Some places must just do offers for Students only, I guess.

Thank you very much for your help, though - I do appreciate it. If anyone can get their hands on a Glasgow one I'd be over the moon!

If you go into Glasgow University Library there was (about three weeks ago) a box of them lying out on the main lending desk which you could donate a suggested £2 if you wanted one. There might be some left.

Sods law, I have the silver 06/07, and the green 07/08 one, as well as a social animal one which is rubbish. If 08/09 is knocking around, I can't see it. :frown:

Nae bother- if it shows up, I'll post on here. In the meantime, check the University Library, and look to see what you can get on the website without actually showing the snapfax (Pizza Hut Delivery is an example where they don't ask to see it), or moneysavingexpert.com or similar.

I'd be totally happy buying the Platinum Snapfax but one of our favourite restaurants is Khublai Khan's (the mongolian) in Merchants City. They're listed under the Student Snapfax but not the Platinum one... d'oh! I know it might seem strange to get so bothered about one restaurant, but with 20% off, 5 meals there could save £40! :P

Hi all

My girlfriend is coming up to Glasgow for the summer and we'll no doubt be eating out (at restaurants!!) a lot. I used to have a Snapfax but unwittingly lost it earlier in the year. It was great for restaurant deals, so I went to the website to order a couple of them for us, and they're apparently out of stock!

Does anyone either have a spare/unused Glasgow 08/09 Snapfax (or two?) they could either (very kindly) donate or sell to me? Or perhaps somebody knows how to get their hands on one anyway despite them being out of stock?

The card expires in a few months so anyone not using theirs now, I would be _so_ grateful for the help.

I have one, I've never used it, so you can have it if you want, it never cost me anything so it's all good price wise :smile:
