I can't sleep when there's someone else in my bed... It really irritates me!
I can't get to sleep if there is someone sharing a room with me, who I wouldn't choose to share a room with. If I'm sharing with a family member I just can't sleep, they all snore too loudly. But if I'm with a boyfriend, I get the best sleep ever, even if he is snoring! I just feel really safe and comfortable.

*remembers lack of boyfriend at present*

As Ive been having trouble sleeping latley I thought Id start a thread to ask you about your sleep. For example, I can only sleep when there is total darkness and I can only sleep when lying on my left side.

So does anyone else have any wierd sleeping habits?

I am exactly the same as you. Although i also have to hold some duvet near my face. Apparently i have always done that since i was a baby.

I have problems with light. Even a tiny shaft of light coming in under the door can keep me awake, and at the moment I'm waking up around 5 or 6ish when the sun comes up. Was awake even earlier this morning, looked at my alarm clock and it was 4:51  Really not good.

Yeah the same thing happens to me. When the sun rises I submerge under the duvet

You need to get a black out blind from Argos. My mum has one for my little sister so she can get her to bed early during the summer.

i need to sleep on my front with my arms tucked into my chest...
I have a problem: I have no biological clock. A friend from my residence is doing a phd in circadian rhythms and explained a few things to me and I have deduced that my body doesn't have a 24-hour clock and is totally screwed up. Unlike most people, I don't have a bedtime I follow every day. Once I've fallen asleep (that's the tricky bit), I can sleep 10 hours, whether it be 7 at night or 11 in the morning.

I find I can't sleep if I'm not facing right, grasping the covers under my chin, on the right side of the bed. =/
I sleep on my stomach and i dont tend to use pillows.

Lol ditto! Even the little red light on my TV annoys me lol. But once I get to sleep I can generally stay asleep even when the sun comes up (but I do have blackout blinds in my room  )
And I also have to sleep on my front, with my head facing to the right and my duvet tucked up under my chin.
And I also have a little teddy bear I have in my bed, which I find it really difficult to go to sleep without :embarasse
