Could anyone tell me how the predictions are made off in IB , are they made by the term grades or not? In addition to this does anyone knows how the offers are made. For example if you have 32 out of 40 in the overall of each term and the acceptable grade for Surrey is 34 will you get a rejection or they made you an offer?

Well you will be predicted a score out of 7 in each subject and possibily (depending on the school) also with regarsds to your extra points. The universities will then see these and decide either to reject you flat out or to give you a conditional offer. These conditional offers may state a total IB score and/or points that need to be gained in your higher level subjects and/or points that need to be gained in individual subjects. You then have to meet the criteria of the conditional offer in order to be guaranteed acceptance by the university.
