You could take a leaf out of my book & systematically try on everything in your wardrobe to make sure it still goes with your newly dyed hair... I'm not saying you'll enjoy it, but it's definitely time-consuming! :o:

Are you trying to insinuate something about GB's hair colour!? :hmmm:
Get off my hair. :frown: Ah, I'm just deprived of human contact. This is turning out to be a rubbish week. I always expect the week before term starts to be good, but then I remember (far too late) that I just end up doing nothing for all of it.

Go visit Athena or something? There are plenty people around.

How's the new room, btw?

I don't really know Athena, and have no clue where she's based, so nah. :p: There's basically no one around in Selwyn, for some reason.

New room is good. Having a set will hopefully stop me sleeping in the middle of the day so much.

No, about mine (since the suggestion was based on what I've *just* finished doing... ).

I've dyed my hair red btw, so I've definitely got nothing to insinuate about GB's! :o:

Oxford is really nice as is my new college but I miss Cambridge a bit :frown:
I'm currently trying to find new coxes for my rowing club. So if any of you rowers know of any coxes who'd like a bit more experience, and would accept payment in chocolate, beer or even sterling, then let me know!

Why would that be?

Why would that be?

Because now if I want to go to bed I have to give it a lot of conscious thought and effort.

Cambridge is really nice and my new college will do, I suppose, but I miss Oxford a lot :p:

I'm not homesick at all (I never am) but man, I am I missing Wadham.

Hah. See I never have this problem mainly because I struggle to go to sleep in the first place. Waking up, conversely, is nigh on impossible.

A set would be great though! I still wonder whether I shouldn't have given up Old Court for one, but we'll see.

XKCD provides the solution:- The 28 hour day
:ditto: I know someone who did this (although under advice as a method to correct their inverted sleeping pattern).

Lol!

I 'correct my inverted sleeping pattern' on a regular basis. It just graduates back again inevitably. My next scheduled correction is my flight back to England next Monday. It will tire me out so much that I'll be able to fall asleep much earlier than usual on the Tuesday of arrival, which means I'll be able to get back into going to bed before midnight as opposed to dawn chorus.
Just seen this news about Dr Who. It has made my inner geek soooo happy.

doctor who xmas spoiler

I'm properly going back up to Cam in about half an hour. Despite moving (seemingly) the majority of my stuff in on Saturday, I still have loads of boxes to take with me :s-smilie:
Doing some preliminary packing before the BIG PACK tomorrow- just discovered i have at least 4 different pairs of sports related shoes to take down (impressive given i'm not actually on any sports teams...yet). i feel somehow both masculinised and effeminated by this fact :s-smilie:

Four pairs? Nice.
I just bring far too much stuff in general. I know I'm only going to wear a certain set of clothes... but I still pack heaps more. I'm not gonna have enough wardrobe space...
My big trunk is already away, but the two oars aren't.. They wouldn't fit in the courier's van.. Despite stating several times, 'they're about 380cm long..' So that will be a nice little detour on the way to the airport tomorrow..

Squash shoes, astroturf shoes are what I take.
I guess studs might be useful too.
What's the 4th one for?!

oars  and from northern ireland too :eek3: i thought fencing kit was bad enough. I think i will have to learn to pack lighter this year seeing as i can only have a short contract on my room so i can't leave stuff in it over the hols like i did last time!
