See attachment. Clearly you aren't on the coolest mailing lists. :tongue:

Evidently not. Thank you. :p:

Hah. Living in college rocks. I just made myself dinner, finished it, and suddenly wanted a pudding. Hall was minutes away from closing, but I got there on time to nab a pudding and run off with it :king1:
So basically, it's a bit like public nudity. It's only illegal if people take offense and it is deemed to have been done in an offensive manner or something like that. :biggrin:?

edit: I've a feeling translations may actually start to dictate my life this year. I've spent about quarter of an hour trying to figure out what a four line German sentence means, and I'm still not quite there. And if you don't know what it means, translations involve guesswork, which can be hilarious. I can't wait to have the discussions on these things. :biggrin:

No, TSR actually has a non-ambiguous policy on pornography and diagrams or images of genitals.

I just made myself a tuna sandwich which I did not enjoy but then went down to the hall and saw they were serving roast dinners :eek3: I should have gone there first :sad:

You know the comic numbers by heart? :lolwut:
Hm. I made mince and rice about a week ago (less than, I think) and put some in a plastic box in the fridge. Is this likely to still be edible?

Depends on whether you want food poisoning :biggrin:

The meat would probably be fine if it were four days on in a fridge, but rice is very high risk, so its probably not safe.

Oh! I thought it would go the other way around. :o: Thanks; to the bin it is, then. I just couldn't stomach it 3 days in a row and forgot about it.

Did that once - accidentally made virtually-raw chicken, but ate enough of it before discovering to be pretty violently ill. :p:

Rice is barely safe when left for half an hour, let alone a week. As a grain it is particularly susceptible to Botulism.

That said, I've eaten worse than week-old rice ...

I only found out about that the other day though. And I had (previously) made a habit of leaving lots of rice out to cool for up to 24 hours, and then sometimes leaving it in the fridge for several days after that (to make rice you can fry properly, it has to be really cooled and dried out). Didn't get ill. Whether though luck or hardiness I don't know.

To my great surprise, I have just discovered that:

Opinionsπ=Onions\textrm{Opinions} - \pi = \textrm{Onions}

Hardiness, I'm sure. There is likely little to worry about; our metabolisms can generally handle adversity quite well, though because my mother is a chef, and because I remember helping her when I was young with revising for health & safety exams, I have low-key paranoia about botulism.

If I leave mine for a while before eating it and it goes cold I'm generally worried about eating it :eek3:

I'm slightly weird with food hygiene...

Oh. My experiences in commercial catering have had the opposite effect. Having worked in a pub kitchen and seen how food "hygeine" really works (even in a well-run kitchen with a head chef who was actually pretty conscientious about most things) has made me pretty relaxed about just about any bad habits one has in a private kitchen by comparison.

Even better:

π+Onions=Opinions\pi + \textrm{Onions} = \textrm{Opinions}

Hmm pies and onions, no wonder there are opinions :p:
Just tried kickboxing. Enjoyed it muchly. Will hopefully start. :biggrin:
