French textspeak/lolcatspeak is even more weird than the English counterpart :biggrin:

Yeah. I suppose it would be, really. English lolcat-speak rests on the fact that there are lots of ways to 'misspell' a word without changing its sound (e.g. done = dun), and since 90% of the letters in French words are silent... :p:

but .... PDF Creator will allow you to print to PDF and has options for encrypting the resulting file (and setting permissions on copying text / images).

I'm afraid I have no suggestions better than those already made, however, regarding un-editability... as for saving as a PDF, OpenOffice Writer will do it too, although you said you have Word 2007 so I guess you'll be using that.
