I did not make 7.30 fitness today, and I didn't even realise that my alarm went off (I remember seeing the clock at 7.15 but not much else) and Formal at Trinity last night was actually good amazing.

And Queens bar serves non alcoholic beer
Missed my lecture this morning due to some heavy metal loving person last night.

Going to audition for Corpus Christi choir next week. if Homerton won't have me though I don't hold out much hope...

The free cake at the hub thing was good. Of course I was in too much of a sarcastic mood to appreciate it.

I just got an external monitor... and what excites me most about it? Not having a decent screen for films, no. Being able to have two documents in full view, side by side...! What has this university done to me?!
I have spent the past three hours pinning up dozens of photos (despite the fact that I'm going to have to take them down in a few weeks), cleaning the kettle shelf and making 'interesting food concoctions'. I should never be allowed to 'work' in my own room. It's not even like I'm not really interested by the essay title...

Green :teeth:

It was interesting. They were telling us about how ridiculous their workload has been getting with increased mail volumes coupled with job cuts and how they were offered FIFTEEN MINUTES of industrial action after christmas ><.

Gah!

huladancingmunchkin noticed you. I was facing the other way, but I looked and confirmed the Craggy sighting  Were you there for Evensong? It sounded so nice from outside, just going past.

Who's that? :frown: How did they recognise me if they'd never seen me? And no, two of the people in The Cambridge Hub are at Emma, and I helped them to carry loads of the stuff from the fresher event in Kings back to Emma. Once we got there, it was already gone six, and it would have been later on in hall time once I got back to college to eat. So I asked one of the girls if she felt like halling together at Emma, and a friend from Homerton called at a handy moment and joined us :awesome:
K.T.
Marburg, in NE Hessen (scarily close to the Smelly Commune from the Summer & with a population of 80,00) :frown: I still can't decide which language I prefer, so I'm applying to both countries. An Erasmus is a really good opportunity, but not if I'm going to be stuck somewhere I hate for a year (AGAIN ). I might regret it if I turn it down, I might regret it if I accept... it's all a bit of a nightmare wrapped in a mess.

Ok so its the appearance of an opportunity rather than Russia not being possible anymore. Why is Erasmus better? Do you get expenses paid or something? Or would it just be nice to be a student instead of just mooching about and doing crappy part time work?

Did you see me? Regrettably I couldn't return the favour, obviously

Heheh. Well I learnt sometime last year that I can't work in my room, really, so usually transplant myself into the library. But that doesn't mean I can resist the urge to decorate my room when I'm here. I stayed up till four am a few nights ago putting up all the postcards and fairy lights :flute:

I'm slightly confused by this:
They would have contacted me if they were including my Project in this demonstration wouldn't they? But the way they've worded it makes it sound like they mean everyone
And I'm miffed that they haven't contacted me about my Project. Perhaps loads of other people got firsts on it. I only had a 67, but I would have thought that was good at least :frown:

We're not allowed fairy lights. Or blu-tack :'(.

There's a very simple solution to that :shifty:

Not if you don't have an A at A level music there isn't :s-smilie: It's not that I don't like my subjects now, it's just that I know if I'd stuck at music that's what I would have been doing which makes me sad

Erasmus is good because they pay for your fees and I think you get some kind of extra grant or something? I've kind of taken that opportunity away from myself by vowing not to spend my year abroad in Spain - it was always going to be Latin America or Russia for me. And now I'm set on Moscow  I'm getting a job though, none of this studying malarkey for me.

Trinity Formal last night

You were at Trinity formal last night?! So was I! We were the group of Russianists who moved down to let the swap in, and one of the guys from Caius did say that he kept seeing people from Caius, perhaps that was you and I totally missed you...

Nor are we. They haven't done anything about it yet.

Yeah, well I think so.. Although there were a couple of folk with dreads, there was only one in a hub hoody.. :p:
And I was in a bad mood 'cos I was tired and feeling unenthusiastic. Dream poster child for volunteering, me.

Hey mate, is tonight still going ahead?

Not really azhao. Lots of people have blonde hair. But few have hair as blonde as hers. Its not quite platinum blonde but its certainly a lot more white/yellow than the usual browny/sandy blonde alot of people are.

I like the free Private Eye. I assume it's morally wrong to leave the copy of TCS?
Slumpy
We've got you in a week? Will have to see if I recognise you from lectures on the pitch...
Looks like I've got a supervision that clashes with it... I can probably get it rearranged so that I can make the second half though.

I reckon it's fine:p:
Good times, I hope we're not missing a keeper again though, it went badly last match...

Oh I did see Simon but didn't have chance to ask him for what exciting reason he was there for :frown: I was on a caius/Queens' rugby swap with the Trinity boys rugby and the Caius choir were also there swapping with the Trinity one  I totally missed you as well...

Realistically there are 3 things I could be doing next year, & the only one that I can organise through the uni is Ersamusing in Germany, so I'm looking into that at the moment; it's the most sensible option financially, & possibly academically as well... still, I have a couple more YA meetings to help make my decision :/

In other news, the porno couple upstairs are at it *again*
