I swear half the people on my corridor are still asleep. So this is why Cambridge don't do weekends

I really don't get brunch. Firstly rarely feel like eating anything at all first thing. I usually have to force myself. Secondly, there's nothing particularly exciting about hot, fatty food. I prefer to use up my hypothetical calorie quota on stuff more exciting. Like chocolate.

Does the lure of bacon really get no purchase on you?
After brunch I always feel bloated and as though I've consumed about 200% of my daily recommended fat intake... (and I have lectures/supervisions through it on Saturdays anyway.)

Grr, why does facebook have to keep changing their layout? I really don't want all these information about people I don't care about becoming friends with people I don't know. What is the difference between a live feed and a news feed anyway?

Nope. Only when I'm hiking or doing something really active like that.

I might be wrong, but I'm guessing that they removed that awful 'Highlights box' which forced you to see absolutely anything that anybody else did or joined and so forth (Thanks Be) and instead put all of this information onto the 'Live Feed', so that if you want to opt out of seeing it, you can switch to the 'News Feed' and just keep that instead. If I'm right, this is actually an improvement for once. But I agree that its annoying how frequently they change.

the former minute details about other people's lives that you really don't care about in chronological order. the latter is vaguely interesting stories about others peoples lives but seemingly in no particular order at all. either way its a very annoying change, i thought the previous system had the balance just about right and was a lot more satisfying

Hmm, I guess that would make sense. I'm glad to be rid of the 'highlights' thing, but I much preferred it (a long time ago...) when there was just one news feed and you could select who to put in it. And before the fonts got stupidly big. They'll probably change the new format in a few weeks anyway, so there isn't much point getting annoyed at it now!

My thoughts exactly - and the news feed vs. live feed question mysteriously appeared in Facebook help at some point yesterday, as I discovered when wondering the same thing myself

Same. I had agonizing muscle cramp in my calves for about 30 minutes, which has now left me unable to walk very convincingly. This is what happens when you cycle every day during the summer and then stop once you go back to college ...
I had that, they still hurt.

Bah! Time to write this essay *mooches off to the library* :getmecoat:

Not sure yet, but I might be able to come. How do I get there from the Clare plodge?

As soon as you enter Clare old court on to the quad, just go right and it's the stairs to the right

Same here, kinda.

God damn Sainsburys basics biscuits. It's like 30p for 100 custard creams. The price just makes it oh so easy to have too many in one go.

What's worse are the ever-so-delicious little plastic boxes full of chewy chocolate biscuits.

Last easter I didn't eat any chocolate or any biscuits for most of the term, which made a massive difference. This term I'm down on the chocolate, but the biscuits are still notable :o:

I'll be along to the open mic night I hope.
Do the TSR people who are going to the open mic night fancy meeting outside of Clare before going in?

I might go along, but I think I'll drag people from my staircase along if I do come! Need someone to walk back with! But if anyone recognises me, do come say hi, I'm not one of these who are ashamed to be on TSR :p:

I should be there too (if anyone recognises me from my 2 second appearance at the meet) :p:

I will probably be there but I don't know I may need an early night!

Hmm, may've just walked past you playing on the netball court then, I somewhat assumed it was training!
