ROFL, just recognised some of the guys from the King's Choir doing the backing on this:

It could be lupus
It didn't go. I instead watched a bit of the United game and then crawled back to bed and fell asleep. The headache is now basically gone

Fair enough. I'm very pleased that not only did I have no headache at all this morning, but all my sport went better than normal.
Thank-you to whoever just repped me

I'll not name the person who neg repped me for one of my posts earlier but I would have liked an explanation as to why you did it.

Loads of people would kill to be where you are, possibly including you a year ago. I appreciate that you get upset but man up a bit - in life you may have to commute a lot further than 15 mins (surely you thought of this when you applied?) and you may have to live on a lot of corridors. Give Cambridge a chance.

It's not as simple when you've been almost agoraphobic for a year. 15 minutes away can make you feel quite insecure-I can assure you throughout my life I've walked to my primary schools and everywhere, I had at least a 2 hour journey to 6th form every day as my family have never had a car. I'm not a lazy person, it's just hard settling when you've been like I've been for a year.

I just hoped I'd be able to comment about it on here without repercussions but obviously not. If you did feel the need to neg me (rather than the users who post idiotic, meaningless threads every second on the site) at least have the courtesy to leave a comment.

:hugs: Don't worry about rep - it's meaningless. :yep:

Talk to the DRC about this?

I don't appreciate being told how to rep...there are no rules :p: !
 Argh, fool. I'm really angry at myself: after so smugly finishing my work at a reasonable time for once, I then proceeded to forget to hand it in.

Thanks  It's just annoying when you get it purely for talking to people you think might understand.

Well that's exactly what I was telling the thread-that I'm trying to talk to someone about it.

:facepalm2: when is it due for? Is it Physics again?

I absolutely hate it when people preach the "you're so lucky to be here, therefore you should enjoy it" line. If it was you who "neg repped" leala4628 then I think that was extremely unjustified and you should apologise. Many people find it difficult here and they should NOT be criticised for airing their unhappiness just because others would 'kill' to be in the same position. You have absolutely no idea what some people go through, or what medical/other conditions they may have, and saying "man up a bit" is incredibly condescending, downright inappropriate and not all for you to comment on without knowing the specific individual circumstances.

It was due in for 6.30 today, I handed it in just after 7. It was computer science, thankfully, but I feel really stupid because I actually finished it like 2 days ago (just had to transcribe it to handwritten, and I did that in the early afternoon). Argh...

You put your clock back 2 hours instead of 1. Sorted.

Haha, that would be very tempting if I hadn't already emailed saying that I had no excuse other than forgetfulness and apologising.

Whatever happened to excuses people? Don't tell me we left them at sixth form :eek3:
Every time I put my Boyzone Live DVD on I fear I hear people laughing outside :s-smilie:

Bleh, this is the most demotivating and inelegant examples sheet ever.

My courses this year are really weird.

Physics A is kind of interesting, in a slightly crazy way, but looks to be getting boring, and has uninteresting examples sheets.
Physics B has been quite boring in lectures, but there are a couple of nice problems on the sheets.
Maths is lectured ok, but the examples sheet seems to consist of beating us over the head with algebra.

All are ok enough that I don't hate them, but none are good enough that I'm hugely excited :frown:
My room is freezing. I turned the thermostat down this morning as it was boiling and forgot to change it again :s-smilie: I'm still not sure how it works as it always clicks on at 25 whatever temperature I put it on but it definitely affects the temperature in my room when I move it...
