How do potato fritters work? they sound tasty.

Well I oiled my pan slightly and put clumps of (dried out on a piece of kitchen towel) grated potato in it. I didn't have anything to season them with though so they just tasted like plain potato. My mum told me they used to add flour when they made them but I have no idea :s-smilie:

My room is now boiling.

I might go to Tesco sometime soon. I just hope the bus turns up this time (I wouldn't know how to find it to walk there as I've heard there's 2...)
I've not used a bus in Cambridge at all so far. But it's true there's two proper ones - Newmarket Road (which is a bit nearer to me) and Fulbourn Cherry Hinton. I haven't checked for stationery, but if not there's a massive Staples (almost) next door to the former.
TV licensing is now being advertised on my Facebook

I DON'T WATCH TV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love stationery shopping. I have far too much to use though :s-smilie:

I don't think I know where Downing college is. I don't know where anything is since I lost my map.

I even get lost in the city centre. It's like a maze especially compared to my home town, I can never remember which corner I've been around.

They have metal whisks in asda, if you still need one...
I've settled for the synthetic rubber, but thanks anyway. Although Asda was not far from Tesco. Drat. Oh well, it still makes an acceptable whisk for my purposes (the lack of gas hobs has always been the limiting condition :grr:).

The lack of a freezer is my annoyance.

Not forgetting the person who spilt milk on the floor this morning.

I don't think I know where Downing college is.

Downing and Homerton are along the same road (A1307 apparently). Follow Hills Road for just over 1 mile, past the University Botanic Gardens, past the station, past Domino's, past the Catholic Church, past most of Parker's Piece. It's directly opposite Pizza Hut.

Tut tut  you just made potential stalkers' lives a lot easier by pointing out exactly where the bits are.

stalker? i know "mr T" is popular but that's just sycophantic.

Who would stalk such a cheapskate?

Still, it's common courtesy.

I never expected The Mensch to steal milk

At least if you're going to ''stock up'' in that way do it properly :yep:

That's a good idea actually :yep: I meant steal real food not just milk. How much milk does one person need? :p:

4 pints a day tends to suffice:p:
Well I'm shattered so am off to sleep :yep:
I think we have about 20 pints in our fridge/on the floor.

This is an impressive amount. How many to a floor?
I have a terrible feeling that tonight I have matched my camfresherschatspamming days :frown:

Bleh, this is the most demotivating and inelegant examples sheet ever.
I think 2nd year is the one I found the dullest/hardest to get through, although I had a really good Maths supervisor so I sort of enjoyed that sometimes. They're basically barrelling you through all the boring old (and important) stuff you have to know for a physics degree - by the end of Michaelmas in the 3rd year you're basically done (and will have reached about 1930 chronologically, minus GR, and plus a bit else maybe but that's really all you need to know Physicswise anyway).

I don't think any of that is anything that would really make you feel better but everyone with your options has to put up with it, including me, so I don't have much sympathy :p:

There's 8 to a kitchen (by floor though I meant what people had spilled and not cleaned up). I might have to write one of my threatening notes.

Sorry for the numerous double posts by the way, I might have to do some editing tomorrow :s-smilie:
