We've got at least 2 pints of each type of milk in our fridge, much to my amusement. It does, at least, mean that noone's likely to nick mine, since I appear to be the only person on the face of the planet who drinks unskimmed.
Same on the whole milk front, its great. Also I may have to tag along on your beach trip, I miss water.
I left fez early cos I knew I needed to sleep I hate being ill!!! I'm off to the doctors on Thursday hopefully he'll give me lots of nice drugs for the millions of problems I'm going to take to him
And leala4628, I'm always here if you need to talk, and I've been though a heck of a lot the last year

Tomorrow is flat out work day - yay.
I seriously need to work flat out today (it's past midnight, so I mean Monday ). I spent lots of time rehearsing on Friday and Saturday and only worked about two hours between them. I've done a bit more today but I can still only cross out two items on my reading list. Given that my essay is due in for Wednesday at 8am and that I'm going to formal this evening, I've seriously got to get my act together...
Bit of a random question... If I wanted to get hold of a vampire/witch's cape before Tuesday night, where could/should I go?
I have an oxfam pair of curtains in what I might call a dark crimson, if you think you could make something of one of those. It would take a bit of Conversion.
I'm realising I need to be very careful with work on the weekend. I tend to have three Monday deadlines, and reading lists are piling up for sure now. Because actually working on the texts we've read already would be too simple for the French department.
And re: milk, last year there were four of us living in a cottage, and we got through something ridiculous like 16 pints in a week. And one of us didn't like milk.
16 pints in a week wouldn't be particularly unusual for me. God knows how much cheese I eat as well. (This seems to be quite a successful approach to keeping thin, though I've never seen anyone other than the Dairy Council recommend it.)
As to the fat content of milk: I like to be able to differentiate it from cream.

As others have said, the joke shop on Bridge Street *will* have something of that sort that is cheap and destroyable. To my surprise they also had an over 18s only section, where presumably they put the dirty jokes.

Silly question: would it be at all easy/cheap to get to the seaside from here? I miss wide open water.
Not far to Ipswich, direct trains and fairly cheap. I know what you mean by the way, in that every time I see the sea I have to sit and watch it for a while... living entirely landlocked both here and at home is annoying. The one fault with Cambridge is that it isn't near the sea. The easy way of course is to join CUYC
Did masses of work today, going to have to do masses more tomorrow and tuesday but hopefully I'll get away with it. Played at the Gates Scholar's Ball tonight, which was fun and saw a Theremin player.
I worked out that I have had 3 nights off this term so far.
my halloween costume currently consists of a hairband from Claires which has fluffy antennae topped with fluffy spiders...I have a feeling it's going to be that + black top and denim mini skirt. Fail.
In other news, I'm up FAAR too early for an arts student :/ I think I'm still in shock...
Not that I can really complain about distance to faculty, but really... I know what you mean, anyway. Monday morning is my Use of French panic morning.
