I hate being ill!!! I'm off to the doctors on Thursday hopefully he'll give me lots of nice drugs for the millions of problems I'm going to take to him :grin:

Not that I can really complain about distance to faculty, but really... I know what you mean, anyway. Monday morning is my Use of French panic morning.

Same. Monday just wouldn't be the same now without a Use of French crisis. Although I prefer translation, it's more fun. Why can't we have that weekly!?

I think I've had just about enough caffeine to be able to look at the Use of French text now. Actually if I close my eyes for more than 2 seconds my consciousness is greatly compromised. Time for another cup of coffee.

I handed an essay in last Tuesday and was told our supervision should be by the 27th October. My supervision partner and I gave it until the weekend for our supervisor to get in touch but he didn't. I emailed him this morning and he says it's this afternoon :rant:

Both of us can't have missed a notification from him :confused:

This is a good idea; I'm about to make some fresh coffee. This is the only way I can face my dissertation before midday.

That took me twice as long as normal to type...

Considering how many people were there I think it highly unlikely that you would have seen me, anywho I have midlength brown hair with some pink underneath, tall and have blue glasses, if you ever come across me again.

I think I've pulled an intercostile mussel if that's even possible ....

Does anybody know how long it takes to walk from the West Cambridge site to the Old Museums Site? Despite having a map, I simply can't work out how long a walk it looks to be ...

A reasonable amount of time. It takes me about 20-25 minutes to walk from Queens' to the William Gates Building, and I walk fairly quickly. So I'd budget for half an hour to 35 minutes to be on the safe side the first time around.

It's ok sometimes they take a while, (I know my tutor dose sometimes) Ask the porters where his room is. Don't your tutors have drop in sessions a couple of times a week?

Not that they've told us. I'll probably try and find him in a while. I missed my lecture this morning and feel guilty but I know I couldn't have concentrated and I'm also really tired after yesterday.

Ok, before you do have a think, what exactly is it about your subject that you don't like? Is it just because your in the transitional period between school and university and might it get better? Also bear in mind that with what you said about leaving your college is a subject change the right idea?

Ah, I walk very quickly, but I'll take your advice in hand. I get a lift out there, but then I must find my way back.

This means another week where I miss lectures on Monday and Tuesday ... not ideal.
