I did not have a clue what to say. I was like wtf am I supposed to say. So my friend said say they are angry, and I just went bad tempered. Being put on the spot was not that good especially with a comedian as good as him

I'm gutted to be missing adam kay and dara o' briain tonight. but i only just got back from an epic pool kayaking session at leys pool and am taking the college climbing club climbing at half 8 :frown:

I know, the blade sort of stopped and jammed and went into my finger and I was like, "oh, theres blood". Bad times :frown:

Yes, Yes it was. I did not have a ******* clue what to say so I said what my friend said. I just sort of froze on the spot

I did not have a clue what to say. I was like wtf am I supposed to say. So my friend said say they are angry, and I just went bad tempered. Being put on the spot was not that good especially with a comedian as good as him

i understand. dara was definitely worth queuing to watch (i saw you laugh at the "england invading ireland" joke, and the interviewer was hilariously uncomfortable which always helps. how on earth did you get on the front row, though?

I really did freeze, did not know what to say. Was so worth it but, and Alana got a video of the bit with me so its going on facebook. Good times =] I am sorry but for an Irishman that bit was brilliant and so true. So so horribly true :sadnod:

EDIT: I was one of the first into it so I grabbed that seat straight away. Was so good. Had to have been probably the best seat in the place. Also yes, the interviewer was not used to his informality. He was so right but, everyone here is so formal compared to in Ireland

i was going to get my picture taken with him but the queue was too long. did you see the frankie boyle lookalike?

Just back from Dara as well - queued for ages, but felt it felt necessary since I was in the other room for the talk itself (turning up at the leisurely hour of 6.50...). I really wanted his book, but since it was sold out, settled on a signed copy of the Termcard instead :/

Ooh, now I know who you are. :ninja:

Dara was good, but I don't know why they didn't have Adam Kay in the chamber as well - I had to leave that early to get a seat. He wasn't too pleased with everyone leaving as he made a joke about how bad Dara's standup was. :eek:
