I'm awaaaaaaaake!!!!!! Shock of the term, and about to start work, I just hope I can do all my reading today and not get massive fines...

I think the aim should be a way of finding a way onto a flight to America :p:

69 drugs for tomorrow? I am guessing this wasn't just set today? Also, pharmacology? I have been told 2nd year is dreadfully hard for medicine. Slightly worrying as I already don't like the amount of learning in anatomy

nah it was set a week ago but I've been techie-ing on a play all last week which has taken up a lot of time. It'll be ok its only a test in a supervision- its taught me to learn the drugs as i go along.
I was joking about 2nd year really, its intense but a lot more interesting and fun.
Thanks to those who came to the open mic night last night! Nice to meet some TSR-ers.

With it being my first time playing guitar with an audience, I was so nervous and my hands were shaking bad, so it was a pretty sloppy performance. Still, glad I did it anyway, and I'm happy to give a private TSR performance so people can see how it was supposed to go... :P
Grr, woken up by a phonecall (an important one, but still annoying). Time to do washing!

Ah right. Its just every medic said 2nd year is a nightmare because of all the work to it. However when they mentioned the topics, they sounded more interesting than this year i.e. pathology and neurology.

Yeah, I think the learning as you go along could be the best idea. I should really do that with anatomy, rather than not learning at all

What was the point of that? They only lost out on money. Did they ask for your student ID to see which college you were at?

I know, I'm guessing its some kind of licensing thing since they're a student-run bar, similar to how bops can only serve University members. Still seems a bit pointless though.

NatSci with CS I take it? Us full compscis have our reputations to uphold! :p: (Or I'm just vain... :shifty:)

It's hilarious how all the natscis I've spoken to are scared out of their wits about ML whereas most of the compscis I've spoken to think paper 1 is their easiest course. Should make for a nice spread come exam time...

There are only two things on at the end of this term for me to go to (and I'm free like from yesterday, so am bored with nothing to do) Now it looks like the TSR curry night AND my friends' house party are going to end up being on the same night! (the third) :banghead:

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!
Somebody please be busy on the 3rd and change the poll? Rep bribe?

I always thought I'd rather do paper 2 than paper 1 (seemed a bit more practical and hands on), but sounds like I should be careful what I wish for...
I think the 7.5 weeks I've spent here so far have seen the worst weather I've ever experienced anywhere (where "bad" is a measure of how drab, grey and bleak it generally is). Someone please tell me this is unusually foul even for Cambridge...
Thursday and Saturday are currently equal. Thursday is proving to be difficult for me too - I am not sure now when I will get back from London, so if I make it at all, I will be late, which is pants.

I need someone impartial to come in and pick a date! although I think, if i'm organising it, i should be allowed to be biased towards being able to attend it myself!!

This is fairly normal. In fact its not always this mild so close to December. It isn't normally quite this windy though.

ML is difficult to get your head around, yes, but if you've programmed before then it's much easier. However some (most?) NatScis haven't and it's unfortunate that they don't start the course with something more accessible.

Java should be better though.

the people at subway know what I order, without me having to ask... I don't know whether to be pleased, or embarrassed by this..
I've had that with coffee shops before ... but not subway.

Right, we're filming in Cambridge today, so apologies, again, if we try to ask any of you stupid questions and bribe you with cookies :ninja:
