out of love for the former or spite for the latter or both?
Interesting move though, is it common for people to switch out of 1a?
Definitely love for the former, I'm a bit of a biolinguist anyway. But it's rare to switch after 1a, and to make the change from bionatsci to linguistics (I only know of one other who's done the second of these). The subjects complement each oher well though.

Well I don't know what's wrong with me today. Stress, tiredness, dehydration, cheese and chocolate led to such a bad migraine that I just had to go to bed for an hour with super strong painkillers to fight it off and actually tolerate vision once more. I've continued with my work by turning off all lights bar one lamp directed down into a corner. I'm reading in semi-light and taking notes by hand to avoid the laptop glare which is currently unbearable. As a result I'm just making one post and then returning to the darkened reading. I'll go to bed at midnight and wake up at 7am. I'm hoping that I can start work by 8 and have most of my essay done by 11, leaving time for the church service from 11-12:30 and back to finish up by 1:30.
Yet again I'm in the frustrating situation of needing to to work since I'm quite busy later in the week so need to get stuff out of the way, but none of the work I need to do has been covered in the lectures yet...

Well. I didn't finish the chapter by midnight, but I've been liberated by discovering that about three quarters of the readings on my list aren't actually relevant to the question I chose. I've read two that are, one and two other halves that aren't, and the only remaining option on the list that looks useful I couldn't get hold of. So that settles that. Bed for me, and tomorrow I'll write it relying on the two good readings, and add contextually tentatively relevent quotes from the other readings just to flesh out the bibliography a bit Luckily the two readings were fairly definitive and certainly enough to get 2500 words out of, if I actually manage to stay within that for once

You're just saying that becaue you're one of those left-wing anti-plagiarists.
Must be...
Of course lets overlook the contradiction in that left-wingedness is far more condusive to plagiarism than any other political affiliation The retard...
Just been reading several chapters on the construction of gender roles, and first thing that greets me on completion is facebook pictures of last night's Christmas bop, with several 'popular' college girls in tight, short red dresses and Christmas hats assuming a provocative pose
How much milk does everybody consume in a week? I think I use about three pints, but that all goes into hot drinks. I don't eat cereal or drink it.. So yeh... alot of hot drinks!
And how many people get these 'self assessment questionaire' forms to hand into their tutors at the end of term? At Peterhouse we don't see our supervision reports on CAMSIS until the tutor has 'released' them which only happens about a week or so after we have our end of term meeting with him. Instead, we send in our self assessement questionaire with details of how we felt term went, what was good, what needed improvement etc, and then he comments on that in the meeting, and reads the supervision reports out to us in person, which is the first we know of it Fun...
4 pints every day or two if I can get to the shop enough. I get them, I've never seen my supervision reports though, had them read out to me before.
